Coaching

When you engage me as your coach, I’m present. In a world that’s becoming more and more virtual, I’m real. All of my sessions with you are FACE-TO-FACE. And, you’ll have unlimited access to me via phone and email. While I customize coaching engagements for each executive, here are some common elements:
- We meet face-to-face, with a meeting schedule that works with your busy calendar.
- Our coaching conversations are confidential.
- I meet with your senior or an HR sponsor to learn about you (I even like to do that in-person).
- We articulate crystal-clear objectives about what you want to gain from coaching.
- I talk with your seniors, peers, and team members (Yes, I like to do that in-person too).
- I give you written and verbal feedback on your Leadership Presence strengths and opportunities.
- We collaboratively build a Leadership Presence Action Plan for you.
- I help you plan and process your skill-stretching experiments.
- We measure, celebrate, and share your progress and success.
Ensuring Results
I’m an action-oriented coach who is known for results. After an engagement, my clients’ LPQ (Leadership Presence Quotient) scores are measurably higher. But far more important than a score, is their perceptible growth in engaging others, building powerful relationships, and championing initiatives. As result of coaching, they are more professionally productive and feel more personally successful. Executives who work with me become respected for their ideas, recognized for their influence, and rewarded for their accomplishments. They become valuable and valued players in the workplace.
Partnering with H.R.
My coaching is characterized not only by progress but also by partnership. If you’re an HR professional, you carry responsibility for the company’s greatest asset, the people. I share that responsibility with you. While my coaching conversations are confidential, my respect for and adherence to the corporate process is unrestricted.
During a coaching engagement, I am eager to connect with HR or a sponsor. Early on, we become aligned on goals that not only serve the executive, but the team and the broader organization as well. Later, I am eager for feedback to calibrate progress and to adjust goals, if necessary. At the close of an engagement, it is critical that we jointly assess the outcome.
As a coach known for results, my greatest joy is seeing the tangible impact on an individual. But, I am also rewarded by the footprint that enhanced Leadership Presence leaves on the organization. It is my privilege, as an Executive Coach, to serve both my client and your company.
