Wow, Ora!!
Not only is your message timely, but it SO resonates with something I just read.
It is an old (July 2010) post by Leo Babauta, at his zenhabits blog. Leo makes the case that the best goal is no goal – and says it doesn’t mean not achieving things!!
While his position is perhaps a bit further afield than your recommendation, he makes a point about setting and tracking goals as unnecessarily administrative.
I think you’re advice keeps it simple, keeps it grounded – and is way more motivating!!
